Upper House is a former hunting lodge with a long tradition of hosting spectacular events. Once the home of The Knights Templar and Agatha Christie’s distinguished family, this beautiful home can be yours for the weekend, with stunning accommodation for up to 21 guests, and the capacity to host a further 100 for your big day.
At Upper House we believe a day is not long enough; you can create a whole weekend of unforgettable memories with your nearest and dearest. Relax and enjoy the majestic surroundings of Kinder Scout in the Peak Park in the heart of Britain, or include other activities and dining experiences as you require.
Truly bespoke events, and host to only twelve special celebrations a year. Our in-house event specialists will support you in creating the wedding of your dreams, with a variety of highly recommended caterers ranging from vintage burger vans to celebrity chefs. Areas of the premises can be easily tented so you can choose where the elements of the day occur – from dining to ceremonies, the choice is yours.
